The past year has been difficult for everyone due to the effects of Covid-19 on society, and how it affected our ability to develop and train on and off the ice. With that said, we found that the 2020 Off-Season yielded some of our best results, as all of us had to find a way to make it successful, proving in fact, there is no excuse. Here is an outline for our 2021 Elite Athlete Hockey Development Program.
We will begin Off-Season training immediately. Similar to years previous, we have the option of ice, incorporated with our training. Along with our partners, Summit Hockey Academy, IHD, and Serdachny hockey, and other guest coaches, we will give players the greatest reach of development possible. The key to our ice and athlete development planning is the ability to integrate the development of individual skills, in group settings built for success.
Due to the rolling changes to restrictions, we have been unable to give any honest stability on how we would be able to run our programs including price, but we believe with what we know now, we are going to be able to move forward with a plan that hopefully works for all of our athletes.
We have a general schedule laid out that we hope to confirm for everyone, that begins as soon as restrictions allow.
We have some very different options and have athletes coming in from as early as 7 am to as late as 7:30pm starts with the day full between. Along with this, we are organizing ice schedules for everyone. We will have some ice options in June that are different for us, as well as 2-3 days a week in July and on average 4 days a week throughout August until players leave to their teams/tryouts.
If you haven’t put in your registration form yet, please register here as space is limited.
There could be changes as restrictions are lifted and things in the city change. We appreciate everyone’s patience and will keep everyone updated as things roll out. We are looking forward to a great summer of training with our athletes. Please reach out here if you have any questions or concerns.
